PUBG announced a new weapon (currently on test servers) and we are having a deeper look and also explain why this could be the most powerful weapon used with our macros!
Playerunkown’s Battlegrounds, or better, PUBG Corp recently announced the upcoming weapon “Beryl M762”. The new weapon is using the in-game 7.62mm ammo and can, differently to the AK, be attached with grips. It’s a world-spawn (means it’s not only exclusive in crates) across all maps.
The gun takes all kind of muzzle attachments (like compensator, flash hider, suppressor) and can be attached with either the light weight- or angled grip. This makes the weapon very interesting, since it has the power of a 7.62 gun (like AKM or DP28) but can also wear attachments which benefit the recoil behaviour. Compared to the AKM, the Beryl M762 does less damage per bullet, but has a higher fire rate, resulting in higher DPS thant he AKM. Sounds too good? Indeed. PUBG Corp decided to counter all these benefits by increasing the weapons recoil and making it therefore hard to master. And that’s where the interesting part starts …😈
But first, let’s have a look at the Beryl M762’s recoil pattern compared to the AKM:
Do you notice something? Oh yes! The Beryl M762 has less horizontal recoil (horizontal recoil causes the weapon to move randomly to the sides while shooting – read more about this in our other blog article) but has higher vertical recoil (weapon moving up while shooting) compared to the AKM. And yes, this is great news for us and, if you are a customer of MACROKINGZ, then also great news to you. Less random horizontal recoil means that the Beryl M762 macro will be more accurate, than the AKM one while pushing out more damage.

Since it’s easy to control the vertical recoil of a weapon with macros, the new Beryl M762 weapon might become the most powerful AR (or maybe even gun?) in PUBG, when being used with macros. We are hyped to release our MACROKINGZ Beryl M762 macro package update as soon as the weapon hits the live servers.
